Valeria Pinchera

Valeria Pinchera Professor of Economic History at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa. Her research fields are the economics of art in the early modern period, the business history of fashion, and the history of textile and clothing industries in the 19^th and 20^th centuries. She has been visiting fellow in universities and research centers in the United States and Europe, including the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Boston. She has published in international journals such as Business History Review; Business History, and The Journal of Interdisciplinary History.
